TimeMoto helps Fiocchi Farben to reduce their administrative workload
By enabling employees to manage their time records and reducing administrative tasks, TimeMoto has allowed Fiocchi AG (Switzerland) to focus more on its core business of providing high-quality paint products and services.
Since 1970, Fiocchi Farben has been supporting both private and commercial customers in designing and beautifying their spaces and walls. Their main location is in Dietlikon, and in recent years, two new locations were added in Zürich (established in 2018) and Winterthur (2023). With a staff of 17, Fiocchi Farben looked for a simpler and more reliable way to manage employee time and attendance.
“In the past, we tried several systems”, says M. Wipf, office manager for Fiocchi Farben. With employees often moving between locations and clients, tracking work time reliably was a challenge. After evaluating multiple solutions, Fiocchi implemented TimeMoto in January 2024 and upgraded to the TimeMoto Cloud version in January 2025. The system includes three manager profiles with full data access, allowing managers to oversee and verify employee hours daily. “Employees use the TimeMoto Mobile App to submit vacation requests and manage their time records.”

With TimeMoto, each employee is responsible for checking their own hours. Any uncertainties can be discussed with the managers. At each location, a Time Clock is installed. “This is where our employees clock in and out of work, as well as for absences like breaks. Our field staff and drivers are allowed to record their work time using the app on their phones, as they are always on the move.”
For Ms Wipf, the TimeMoto features she uses the most are the Reports and Planning features. “I check the reports and go there to adjust forgotten clock-ins or outs. The Planning feature has proven useful to manage absences such as vacations and medical appointments. That said, TimeMoto has empowered our employees to independently access their hours, vacations, and absences. This greatly reduces the administrative burden on the organisation as a whole.”
The self-service approach of the solution has saved the company valuable time and resources. “There is no longer any need for time sheets or calculations to be compiled. Each employee handles this themselves, with their TimeMoto login. Overall, TimeMoto Cloud has greatly reduced our administrative workload."
